Macbar MOD for Rainmeter by lolitsjae Macbar MOD for Rainmeter by lolitsjae
:heart: OMG 20k views!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :heart: (UPDATED December 9, 2013)
although I didn't 100% make this on my own..I still feel happy :)

:windows: Upon request of ~CarlDx, I've finally gotten the permissions of the authors of the
- Apple Ribbon by esneiderbarca esneiderbarca.deviantart.com/a…

and

- MLH Macbar by ~mickey005 mickey005.deviantart.com/art/M…

And so, I've put together a repackage mashup of the 2 rainmeter skins for macbar in my latest post lolitsjae.deviantart.com/art/T…

just insert in your rainmeter skins folder
ex. Documents/Rainmeter/Skins
then restart your rainmeter...and select the items...also to make sure the icons don't conflict, on the MLH bar, (right click ->settings->position->on Desktop) and you'll see that the finder or the task icons aren't overlapped.

Enjoy and do ask if you have any questions! :)

Fantastic! thx! But have some issues: clicking on the gray strip = invisible ALL another elements (Ribbon, Finder, tasks, clock ) (all thes elements placed behind of Mac Bar )... How about solutions of this?)

Thanks!
you can mess with the placement of each rainmeter gadgets on your desktop, I don't currently have it installed on my laptop, but when you right click on a gadget, look for settings with options like "on Desktop" or "always on top". Those settings are the ones that let you choose which gadgets stay above another. Hopefully that helps!

oooo that's a tough one.. I remember I did this once, it was a small program that someone dA made to hide the taskbar items, only leaving the start menu button, and you could directly put the rainmeter macbar over it.. give me a few days I'll look it up for ya since I have a midterm on Monday..:o

[Button1]

X=17
Y=-1
w=18
h=18
LeftMouseDownAction=!execute ["C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Plugins\openstartmenu.exe /screen 0 22"]

Hi. I'm new here. How do you do this? Do I have to make new ini file? Or just paste this code at the bottom of the ini file for the ribbon?

all you have to do is put the files into the designated folders in the description. Make sure to refresh your rainmeter, and then you can enable each of the parts to the mod! :)

I love this one, so clean. But how do I set it up so that it still shows when windows are fullscreen. And i don't mean the topbar has to overlap the fullscreen window, i mean the top of the fullscreen window will touch the bottom of the topbar (pervert! :D)

hahaha thanks!
well that's a complicated thing to do, since the rainmeter bar isn't like the windows taskbar, so if you want the fullscreen window to touch the bottom of the macbar, you would have to modify the window size manually, and there's not really a way for you to put the macbar to overlap the windows taskbar so there's not really a way, unless you decide to use finderbar..
